Inspiration
I love the idea of putting something together like this, so you can see how everything might tie in. I hate, however, calling it an ‘inspiration board.’ Oh well, it is what it is. This one is comprised of:
Row 1: Tulip (duh), Pulp novel cover, Lyndsey dress from J.Crew (which doesn’t come in this color anymore, sadly), 40’s style bride with hair and makeup I really like, Branch Centerpiece design by Botanicals Inc. Chicago, Red Velvet cake with chocolate frosting.
Row 2: Pomegranate center piece, typewriter key cufflinks by Keys and Memories, cranberry chocolate fudge cake, custom wedding ring by Jade Moran.
Row 3: Eco-friendly mulburry paper invite “Scarlet” by Invitesite.com, another tulip (seriously…), me and Matt by Matt’s friend and brilliant photographer Julie Chen.
Row 4: Interior design of above “Scarlet” invite by belen.net, “Lola” invite by Invitesite.com, autumn leaves (riiiight), photo of couple riding T to reception from article on wickedlocal.com.
I’ve seen some other really beautiful boards on Snippet & Ink, lucky her gets to do this kind of stuff professionally. It was really fun putting this together, I’m thinking that our wedding will be the place for me to play around with some of my designing skillz.
